Update on SBS1 for NSLU2 Linux
Today I've successfully built and run a testing version of SBS-1 software for NSLU2 Linux (SlugOS LE). It's been working non stop for more than 4 hours now and the CPU usage is below 2.5% (266MHz ARM CPU). This leaves plenty of room for other tasks as web data visualisation and/or data sharing!
The NSLU2 is a Linksys NAS device hacked to run general purpose linux in a few flavours, it costs about €50 and can serve as your home printing server, network storage, web server, etc. It has an ARM 266MHz processor and 8MB of internal flash and 32MB of RAM. It also has two full speed USB2.0 ports which you can use to connect various devices like Kinetic Avionic SBS-1 for instance.

Would you like to contribute your software to the Optware package repository?

As soon as I have it all working and tested then sure.. but parts of the code will not be opensource. So I am not sure if it will fit into Optware repository.
